Meet The Founders

Khaled Shaaban

Syrian refugee in the Netherlands, exemplifies resilience and innovation in the face of adversity. His journey began with providing ICT support and infrastructure to humanitarian organizations in Syria, evolving into ICT skills development for refugees in the Middle East. As the founder and chairman of Roia Foundation and co-founder of Turnsole Technologies, Khaled has solidified his role as a social entrepreneur. His commitment to social impact is further recognized through his fellowship with Echoing Green. Ousama Sulaiman

Social entrepreneur and tech expert with over twelve years in the industry, co-founded Turnsole and contributed significantly to the Roia Foundation. His focus is on using technology for social good, particularly aiding refugees and marginalized communities. An LSE alumnus and Saïd Scholar, he excels in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Ousama's work, including empowering refugees in Turkey with software skills and integrating them into the economy, has been recognized in the London Mayor's Entrepreneurs competition, highlighting his dedication to creating positive social change through innovative tech solutions.
